About me.A

Personal Profile

As a graphic designer I take commissions to create logos, articles, brochures, poster design, banners, flyers, including using typography and illustration. I have already had commissions from a range of different clients and have created artwork for them that is being used on a range of media.

I have developed my own style but am willing to use new styles and techniques to suit the job in hand. I can meet deadlines, and can make changes quickly and easily if my initial design isn't quite what you had in mind. If you think I might be able to help you, please get in touch. It would be great to work for you!

Education

2023-2023

Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College

At this college I studied Prepare for Work - Graphic Design. This course focused on introducing me to the world of graphic design and developing graphic design projects where I would understand the role and application of graphic design, research ideas and plan for a graphic design project.

The aim of doing this course was to seek employment in graphic design by producing a strong graphic design portfolio and learning more skills that I can take forward in my career. A support supervisor helped me find a graphic design position at a company called Quilombo UK where I am gaining more industry experience. Whilst I am working here, I am open to find full positions in graphic design as well.

2017-2020

Coventry University

At Coventry University I studied BA Illustration and Animation and achieved a 2.2 grade. Professional practice and employability skills were taught and embedded into the course from day one and ran as a strand throughout. I was taught by staff who were active practitioners in the field of art and design and had relevant industry experience. Industry standard software teaching and workshop skills were embedded into the course structure and its delivery.

I developed my professional understanding of illustration and associated creative practices and developed a portfolio to target my career goals and aspirations. I had the opportunity to work on live and real-world briefs to develop my confidence in working with and presenting to external clients.

2013-2017

Epping Forest College

At Epping Forest College I studied BTEC Level 1 Art & Design, BTEC Level 2 Art & Design, and UAL Level 3 Art & Design. These courses allowed me to explore a wide variety of materials, techniques and processes used in art and design. I explored 3D design, ceramics, fine art, photography and graphics, and I worked both traditionally and using digital media.

The courses allowed me to specialise in areas of choice or interest that would help me with my personal progression aspirations as either a traditional artist or a designer.
