For this project I created label designs for a new chocolate coated coffee bean product that Coco Cafe & Book Shop are launching. Coco Cafe & Book Shop specialises in matching organic fresh brewed coffees with rare chocolate products. Their main clientele are Women, ages 15-54, Chocolate lovers, People who enjoy cafe or book shop cafe atmospheres, and people willing to pay premium prices for food they enjoy.

I had to select a palette of three to five colours that will communicate the idea of sophistication, richness, and/or the exotic. The colour choices had to be based on research as well.

I had to select a pattern/texture that will tactilely compel the viewer. Chocolate is a sensory experience, so the identity should be as well, and there is no better visual way than through texture. 

​

As always, the typeface had to be in an appropriate and complementary voice.

Text that had to be included was Coco Cafe & Book shop, La Minita & Cienaga Chocolate Coated Coffee Beans, 100% Organic, Locally Sourced, Fair Trade.
