Voices For All podcast

The last project at Quilombo UK involved designing graphics for the Voices For All podcast which is funded by Royal Borough Of Kingston, RBK, as part of the Resilience Funding. The aim was to help support residents in Kingston during the cost of living crisis. The council understands that many people have been feeling the impact on their household budget of rising energy, food and housing bills. Their cost of living hub provides some of the essential help and support that residents might need.

I collaborated with video editors who had interviewed Staywell, Mind in Kingston, and Save The World Club. The video editors had started making a video for each organisation and asked for my support to help design graphics which would be included. As part of the first step I created graphics which included the organisation names and says what they are about. For example, Help
for Older People in Debt with Staywell, Mental Health Services for People in Debt with Mind In Kingston, and Uplifting and Empowering People in Debt in with Save The World Club. As part of the design I created a speech bubble so I could put the organisations' logos inside, I found their logos on their websites. Secondly, I created a graphic for the full-length podcast titled: RBK Resilience Fund - Dealing with Debt. Thirdly, I created following graphics which said Tackling the Stigma Around Debt - Why You Shouldn't Be Ashamed of Debt Problems, How Debt Can Negatively Impact Your Mental Health, Clearing Up Misconceptions About Mental Health Problems, and How To Get Help with Mental Health Problems When You Are in Debt. I also had to find suitable images to include in the speech bubbles.
